How to choose scissors

Which Potts scissors angle should I order?

25° and 45° are the most common for extending an arteriotomy; 60° and 90° suit deeper access; 125° and 125° V-neck are reverse-angle for back-cutting. Most CABG sets include 45°, 60° and 125°.

Razor-edge or tungsten-carbide (TC) blades?

Razor-edge blades give the finest, smoothest cut on delicate tissue. TC blades stay sharp longer and are marked with gold rings. Both are available on most patterns.

How long do your scissors stay sharp?

Scissor sharpness is guaranteed for 5 months under correct use; defective pairs are replaced under our 1 year warranty.
