Warranty, repair & returns
What our warranty covers, how to get instruments repaired or resharpened, and how to return a product.
Warranty
Every instrument is warranted against defects in material and workmanship for [X years] from the date of delivery. A defective instrument is repaired or replaced at our choice.
- Scissors: sharpness guaranteed for [12 months], with free resharpening in that period.
- TC jaws and inserts: [12 months] against loosening or breakage in normal use.
- Trays and containers: [12 months].
Not covered
- Misuse — e.g. needle holders used with heavier sutures than rated, scissors used to cut wire or plastic.
- Damage from chemicals, saline, bleach or incorrect reprocessing.
- Repairs or modifications made by anyone other than us or our authorised partner.
- Normal wear of cutting edges after the sharpness period.
- Cosmetic colour variation on anodized titanium.
Repair & resharpening service
Resharpening
Scissors honed back to a sharp, smooth cut.
Realignment
Tips, jaws and ratchets realigned and adjusted.
TC insert replacement
Worn tungsten-carbide jaws replaced on needle holders and scissors.
Refinishing & passivation
Surface stains removed, re-finished and passivated.
Re-marking
Laser re-marking of logo, codes and lot.
Set refurbishment
Complete trays inspected, repaired and topped up.
Repairs are quoted per piece; turnaround is [X working days] in our workshop plus shipping. [Confirm price and turnaround.]
How to return or send for repair

Message us on WhatsApp +92 327 5480009 or email sales@toolsforsurgeon.com with your order number, instrument codes and the issue (photos help).
Get a return number
We confirm whether it is warranty or paid repair and send a return authorisation number.
Clean and decontaminate
Instruments must be cleaned and sterilized before shipping, with a decontamination statement in the box.
Ship to Sialkot
Pack with tip guards and send to the address we provide. We confirm receipt and keep you updated.
Returns of unused products
Unused products in original, unopened packaging may be returned within [30] days of delivery for credit. Custom-made, modified or private-label products are made to order and cannot be returned unless defective. [Adjust to your policy.]
